Castel and Hautes Capelles Primary schools are the first to benefit from the introduction of golf onto the primary school PE curriculum. The initiative is made possible through the collaboration of the Guernsey Sports Commission, Guernsey Golf Union and the Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation.
The six week program is being rolled out during 2020/21 to all year 5 children. The courses are taught by golf professionals Alex Murrell (La Grande Mare) and Natalie Goodall (Royal Guernsey/SPP) and at the end of the course the children are invited to a golf course to try out their newly acquired skills.
