There was an excellent field of 20 for the Junior Open sponsored by Rihoy & Son which was played in perfect conditions today. It would have taken a brave person to bet against Ollie Chedhomme on current form and he produced the goods again with another great performance. However he certainly didn’t have it all his own way and his winning score of 38 was matched by James Falla who he beat on countback. Lewis Marley made an excellent defence of his title finishing in third. In the red tee competition it was a one two for visiting players with Thomas Chamberlain scoring an excellent 39 points to win by four from fellow Grande Mare Junior Chloe Gaudion.

Henry Chamberlain made it a great day in the Chamberlain household to win the blue competition with a fantastic 24 points ahead of runner up Lewis O’Brien.

Dennis Riddell representing sponsors Rihoy presented the prizes along with Lady Captain Alice Hurford.
