A JUNIOR DOUBLE AS CHLOE GAUDION AND OLLIE CHEDHOMME WIN THE CENTENARY TROPHIES

In another extraordinary week for Junior Golf, Chloe Gaudion and Ollie Chedhomme won the Royal Guernsey Ladies and Men’s Centenary Trophies respectively.

Chloe won the Ladies event on Tuesday with a fantastic of round of 82 gross 69 nett which included 7 pars. She was out in 41 and back in the same score finishing with an excellent birdie two on the 18th. The icing on the cake was that Chloe also had the lowest gross score on the day, a tremendous effort considering the quality of the field.

Then today Ollie Chedhomme added his name to the men’s Trophy with a stunning round of 67 gross. He was out in 32 with birdies at the 5th, 6th and 8th. Ollie came back in 35 with a birdie on the 12th to record his second lowest score around L’ancresse. As a result he will now have a plus handicap for the first time - a well deserved reward for his outstanding play and sheer hard work.

Congratulations Chloe and Ollie, two outstanding talents who continue to work hard and improve, you are both an absolute credit to the game.
