Conditions were excellent at La Grande Mare for the 8th event in the Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation Order of Merit Series.
In the White Tee Competition Ollie Chedhomme felt right at home on the slick greens shooting an excellent level par 65 gross for 36 points which included five birdies. Ollie has been in excellent form recently and is now very close to plus handicap status with plenty of golf ahead. Runner up was Max Raffray with another solid display which included a birdie two at the 16th.
In the red tee competition Josh Neville recorded his second win of the season with another excellent round of golf scoring 37 points ahead. Second was Thomas Chamberlain. The competition also saw the debut of Grande Mare Junior Tilly Hamilton who scored a very respectable 22 points and we look forward to welcoming her to L’ancresse soon.
In the blue tee competition Charlie Czarnecki took the win, his fourth of the season and he is now top of the Order of Merit.
