Following recent excellent performances in Club competitions from a number of white tee junior boys the Sports Committee have decided that going forward the following rule will be introduced in all gents Club competitions;
‘A white tee junior member eligible to enter a gents Club competition with a handicap of 12 or below will be eligible to win a main prize, including the trophy, on receipt of a full entry fee.
White tee juniors with a handicap of 13-28 will still compete for the overall junior prize. A junior member cannot win both a main prize and the junior prize.
Junior members may not enter the sweep competition. Any sweep awarded with the main prize won by a junior member will go to the next placed adult member.'
