Island Juniors take on a team of Family members
The Guernsey Junior Golf squad played a team match against friends and relatives at La Grande Mare on Sunday. The format was fourball Matchplay and it provided a great opportunity to welcome some of the new members into the squad and give them the chance to team up with some of the more experienced juniors in a fun but competitive format.
In the end the Juniors won 4-3 on a day enjoyed by everyone in good weather.
A huge thank you to all the friends and relatives for taking part and hopefully we will see more of these fixtures again this season.

On hearing the news James said: “It was a great thrill to be selected for the Hampshire Under 14s. It is disappointing that we currently can’t travel but as things improve I’m looking forward to playing some new courses and meeting up with the squad”
James is the fourth member of the Guernsey Junior Golf squad to be selected for Hampshire along with Rory and Conor Mckenna and Ollie Chedhomme.
Congratulations James from everyone at the club and we wish you a successful season with the Hampshire squad.
