LGM Presentation Evening

A fun evening was had by all at the LGM Junior presentation evening. A big thanks to Olly and the team from Petersfield Landscaping who came down to award the prizes. Their sponsorship is hugely appreciated allowing the juniors to have a free coaching session on Saturdays and the fantastic prizes.

There were 20 different prize winners, which is indicative of the increased numbers in the fields during 2019. The annual quiz hosted by John Dent was won by the girls team of Chloe Gaudion, Lily Mckneela, and Jennie Ballay, who had great golf knowledge, and win an on course golf lesson with new professional Alex Murrell.

ROYAL JUNIOR PRESENTATION EVENING - A FANTASTIC CELEBRATION OF JUNIOR GOLF

Over 80 people attended the Junior Presentation evening tonight, a great turnout in what has been a fantastic year of Junior Golf.

MC Phil Sykes got things underway introducing Michel Davy of main sponsor Altair. Their support has been superb this year not only for our Junior Section but also in funding the Youth Commission to introduce young people to the sport who may never have had the opportunity before. Michel also announced that Altair would be extending their sponsorship next year which is brilliant news.

Outgoing Ladies Captain Alice Hurford presented the prizes to the modular, blue tee, red tee and girls competition winners. In addition to her duties as Captain, Alice has worked tirelessly developing girls golf organising regular games for the girls and supporting Junior golf within the Junior Committee. Alice was presented with a bouquet of flowers and the gratitude of everyone at the club.

Many congratulations to the Winners and all the Juniors who took part in competitions this year. With the creation of the Ray Lowe Order of Merit the playing numbers in every competition have been unprecedented. Club Captain Chris Hurley presented the prizes for the White Tee Competitions.

Thank you to our other new competition sponsors Rihoy & Son and Marley Engraving.

We look forward to seeing everyone next season and wish all our Juniors happy golfing over the winter.
