Jayden Tucknott enjoyed a successful trip to the UK over the last few days playing in three Junior Opens culminating in victory at the Blacknest Junior Open yesterday defending the title he won last year.
His first event was at Goodwood in Sussex where playing the course for the first time Jayden shot a solid 81 (+9) to finish 5th. He then moved on to Hampshire shooting 79 (+8) to finish 5th again at Hockley.
He left the best to last at Blacknest. Whilst the course is not long, it’s very tight, Jayden had a brilliant front nine and was two under at the turn. He kept it together brilliantly coming home to shoot a fantastic 70 (+1) and secure the victory. As a result he is now down to 2.
