Quite a few days for Chloe!
Day1:
Chloe Gaudion made a brilliant start to Junior girls county week. There was no sign of nerves as she played her singles match against Middlesex this morning. Chloe was in fantastic form and totally dominated beating her opponent 6&5. The Hampshire Junior girls team won the match 4.5 - 2.5.
The early finish allowed her time to rest and re-energize for the afternoon foursomes stableford. Her quality golf continued and along with her partner they scored an excellent 33 points to finish second. Well done Chloe on an amazing competitive debut - keep up the great golf!
Day 2:
Chloe Gaudion was on fire again today for Hampshire junior girls in her singles match against Surrey in junior county match week. Surrey are acknowledged as one of the strongest teams in the country and are ranked number two in the competition. This didn’t seem to faze Chloe who was in stunning form and duly completed a crushing 6&5 victory for the second day in a row.
Chloe was rested for this afternoon’s matches to keep her fresh for the big game against home team Kent tomorrow.
Day 3:
It was always going to be a big ask for Chloe Gaudion to replicate her form of the first two days of Junior Girls County week and unfortunately she lost her match against her Kent opponent today. However Chloe had the consolation of winning the outstanding Hampshire player of the week award, a quite phenomenal achievement for someone making their debut at this level and richly deserved. Many congratulations Chloe and we all look forward to seeing you in action in the Junior inter insular this weekend.
