A strong field assembled for the white tee Cressida Priaulx Cup yesterday. James Troop took his first in win the Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation order of merit this season with an excellent round of golf. James scored 36 points which included nine pars and birdies at the 6th and 17th, as he came back in 36.
Runner up was Thomas Chamberlain with 34 points. He made six pars including four in a row on the front nine.
In the red tee Nightingale Cup it was that man Josh Neville grabbing the headlines again with his third win of the season. He scored 39 points and his round featured six pars and a brilliant birdie at the 9th. As a result he now has a 15 point lead in the order of merit and is going to be tough to beat.
Runner up was Chloe Gaudion with her best round of the season, a superb 78 gross. Chloe made a great start and was out in 38 and came back in 40 with a birdie on the 15th to score 38 points.
There was one player in the blue tee competition with ten year old Luke Adcock making his first start in competition . He had an incredible nine holes scoring 32 points including a brilliant par at the 9th - congratulations to him on an outstanding debut.
