CHLOE GAUDION LIGHTS UP LA GRANDE MARE WITH A BRILLIANT NEW COURSE RECORD

Just a week after producing one of the rounds of the season at L’ancresse, Chloe Gaudion elevated her game to a whole new level and lit up La Grande Mare yesterday with a magnificent round of 67 - a new Women’s course record.

Her Coach Phil Sykes has been challenging Chloe to improve her scoring recently and yesterday she repaid his confidence in her ability with interest. Playing in the August Junior Competition, the 14 year old was out in 35 cancelling out two bogeys with birdies on both the par 5s. She then proceeded to par all the remaining holes to come back in 32.

We’ve known about Chloe’s talent for a long time, but to produce golf of this exceptional quality at her age in challenging conditions is truly incredible.

As a result of her round she is now down to 7.6 and in the very top tier of Women’s golf on the Island and without question will have made waves across the Channel in Hampshire.

Many congratulations Chloe on your outstanding achievement, we are all immensely proud of you and look forward to following your progress this season and throughout the rest of your career.
