Lewis Marley made it two wins for the season with an excellent performance in the Valentine Cup yesterday. His round of 80 gross comprised of nine pars and a superb back nine of 38 for a total of 38 points. Lewis is in very good form with plenty of golf still ahead this season. Runner up was Noah Davy with another very good round highlighting his consistency. He is now off 24.
In the St David’s Cup Chloe Domaille was the winner with yet another stunning round of golf as her season just gets better and better. The newly crowned Guernsey Junior Girls Champion continues to make huge strides in her march towards single figures and the pinnacle of the women’s game locally. Her 41 points was the round of the day and one of the best of the season and she is now off 12. Runner up was Alex Mills with 37 points.
In the Blue Tee Competition Lochlan Bain produced some great golf for 26 points and another big handicap reduction. A blue tee leaderboard wouldn’t be complete without Lewis O’Brien there or thereabouts and sure enough he was runner up with a solid 18 points.
Next up we are back at La Grande Mare on Friday and then at L’ancresse on Sunday. With a number of players in great form we could see fireworks if conditions allow.
