Ollie Chedhomme and Rory Mckenna contested a final of such quality that could easily have been the Mens Final. Both boys came through their semi finals with 5 and 4 wins against Lewis Marley and Daniel Troop respectively.

The much anticipated match was very tight with the lead changing hands a number of times. There was never more than a hole between the two Hampshire Under 16s players. They came off the 12th all square and proceeded to par the next 4 holes. Ollie made a decisive putt on 17 to birdie from around 18 ft that proved to be the match winner when the boys halved on 18.

Both boys played fantastically well and highlighted the quality at the junior level.
