GUidelines for Junior Players and Parents/Guardians
Before the playing of the next junior competition this coming Sunday the Junior Team would like to advise all junior competitors and their parents / guardians of the following guidelines:
1) During play, scores should be recorded and agreed with your playing partner at the completion of each hole before moving to the next tee box.
2) At the completion of the round cards should be checked and signed by both the player and marker.
If there are any disagreements on scores then the competitors should speak to a member of the Junior Team who will be on hand to help resolve any issues.
3) The RGGC Junior Section caddie policy should be followed at all times.
4) Parents / guardians who are restricted from caddying may follow a game but should not be within 25 metres of the play.
5) Parents / guardians should not converse with players at any time whilst play is in progress.
6) Parents / guardians are welcome to help look for golf balls to help the pace of play but should not involve themselves in any rules issues unless asked to do so by a member of the Junior Team.
7) All red tee matches will be chaperoned by a scorer who will record the scores of all the players in that match. These will be arranged before each competition.
8) All junior competitors should carry a rule book. These are available in the clubhouse foyer or from the main office.
The Junior Team want all juniors to enjoy their golf in a fun and safe environment, please follow the guidelines above and this will help to ensure this happens.
