NSV TROPHY & GORDON ROWLINSON CUP - Wins for Rory and Thomas

The summer of great golf for our juniors continues.

In the White Tee NSV Trophy Rory Mckenna enjoyed a fantastic day on the course. His wonderful round of 70 gross featured birdies on the second and fourteenth holes for 41 points. To produce golf of this outstanding quality in challenging conditions highlights just where Rory’s game is at the moment. Going sub 70 is very much within his sights and the busy schedule in the next few weeks will only benefit him. Runner up Noah Davy also enjoyed a great day and earned a two shot handicap reduction for his terrific 40 points. His round featured four pars including a brilliant 3 at the 12th. Jayden Tucknott was third after another very solid display with 37 points.

In the Red tee Gordon Rowlinson Cup the talented Thomas Chamberlain topped the field with 37 points from Chloe Domaille with 36 and Lily McNeela with 34. Both girls should be pleased with their rounds after big handicap reductions recently.

In the blue tee competition Theo Hollyer-Hill was the sole competitor. He has played some incredible golf this season and it was business as usual yesterday. His brilliant 21 points featured a magnificent birdie 2 at the third and his handicap is now down to 29.

Next up are the Goodridge and Longue Rue Cups at L’ancresse on Sunday. Entries close on Wednesday.
