Great conditions greeted the 20 competitors yesterday with more superb golf on display.
In The Cressida Priaulx Cup, Away Player Max Raffray scored an excellent 38 points narrowly pipping Jayden Tucknott on countback. Jayden moves up to second place in the season long Ray Lowe Order of Merit with Conor Mckenna still on top after three events.
The red tee Nightingale Cup was fiercely contested with the top four players beating par. Lily Mcneela’s superb 40 points was good enough to beat Chloe Domaille but only on countback. Both girls played some stellar golf with Lily’s handicap being reduced by 4 shots and Chloe now playing off an impressive 22.
Livewire Lewis Blondel had another great day with 38 points and another handicap reduction.
In the blue tee competition it was that man Theo Hollyer-Hill taking the course apart for another amazing score of 26 points for 9 holes. Newcomer Lochlan Bain continues to impress and was unlucky to miss out on top spot with a terrific 25 points. Lewis O’Brien consistently produces excellent scores and his 23 points means he is now playing off 28.
Next up is the rescheduled Easter Cup at La Grande Mare on Monday 25th July, entry is open now.
