CINCINATTI CUP - JENNIE BALLAY TAKES THE HONOURS

The Cincinatti Cup offered the last chance of silverware for our red tee juniors on their home course this year. There have been a number of different red tee competition winners over the season and handicap reductions across the board which has been fantastic to see.

Jennie Ballay has enjoyed great success over the last few months in senior competition and in the UK and took the win with an excellent 38 points from runner up Lily Mcneela.

There are still two more competitions in October and November for our red tee players at the Grande Mare as part of the Ray Lowe Order of Merit Series.

Three players took part in the blue tee competition. The scoring as usual was excellent with Gus Carre taking the spoils with 21 points just ahead of Lewis O’Brien and debutant Lochlan Bain. Well done to all our blue tee players this season, there is some excellent talent coming through and we look forward to following their progress on to the red tees and beyond.
