There were 24 Juniors in the field for Goodridge and Longue Rue Cups with vital points up for grabs in the Ray Lowe Order of merit and of course the prestige of winning the trophies for the home players.
The blue tee competition saw an impressive six entries with Josh Neville coming out on top with an incredible 27 points! Runner up was Lewis Blondel with 24 points on countback from Alex Queripel. The outstanding scoring has been a feature of the blue tee comps and it won’t be long before a number of the players make the transition to the red tees.
In the red tee competition La Grande Mare player Thomas Chamberlain continued his recent run of good form to take a valuable ten points in the Ray Lowe Order of Merit. Home player Chloe Domaille won the Longue Rue Cup with another excellent performance highlighting again she is one to watch.
In the White tee competition it was another La Grande Mare player James Troop who bagged another Ray Lowe Order of merit win with a superb 40 points. ‘Mr Consistency’ Conor Mckenna won the Goodridge Cup with another top performance and he will be eyeing another handicap reduction if he continues his stellar form.
