SHELDON TROPHY & GRIFFIN CUP - WINS FOR CONOR MCKENNA & CHLOE DOMAILLE

It was a windy day on the links yesterday making it a very tough day for the nineteen strong field.

Despite the conditions the scoring in the blue tee competition was superb with Theo Hollyer-Hill scoring an incredible 24 points with runner up Henry Chamberlain on 22. Lewis O’Brien was third with an excellent 20 points.

In the Griffin Cup it was an another great win for Chloe Domaille who continues to impress. Her 32 points was more than respectable on the day with Noah Davy a point behind taking runner up spot on countback from Alex Mills.

Nine players competed for the Sheldon Trophy and from the start it looked like any score over 30 would most likely be in the mix in the tough conditions. Hampshire player Conor Mckenna came out on top with 35 points, his ability to keep hitting fairways along with his mercurial short game ensured a two point win from runner up Jamie Trebert with Rory Mckenna in third.
