With the recent levels of rainfall it is great credit to the Greenkeepers that the competition went ahead and the good conditions were reflected in the scoring.
The standout performance of the day was by Ollie Chedhomme. Ollie shot 3 birdies and 13 pars on his way to 41 points winning the day and the season long Ray Lowe Order of Merit. Jenny Ballays’ good form continues with a 39 point second place and Daniel Troop came third on count back from Max Raffray and Conor McKenna with 35 points.
In the Handicaps above 28 competition, Alexander Mills saw his handicap reduced again with a winning 39 points. Thomas Chamberlain and Lily McNeela both scored a very respectable 33 points with with Thomas finishing second on countback.
The blue tee competition was keenly contested. The top 3 all played beyond their handicap in their 9 hole competition. Lewis Blondel and Theo Hollyer-Hill both scored 22 points with Lewis just edging it on countback. Josh Neville was only one point behind the leaders and secured third place.
